Among Us Logic: The Curse of Novisor is the 28th Among Us Logic episode and the 4th Novisor Saga episode. It was released on May 8, 2021.

Description[]

You think you know Novisor? You don't know the half of it. Find out the secret origins of Novisor in this haunting episode of GameToons!

Plot[]

Player, Captain, Ninja, and a mysterious new character are running from a group of No-Visors on the Airship. Ninja slashes some of the No-Visors and closes the door to the cockpit.

Several hours earlier, Baggy drives him and his friend, Blondie, to a drive-in movie theater. Baggy gets uneasy while being around Blondie, nervously laughing and stuttering whenever he talks. He then reminds himself in his thoughts to be more confident because tonight he will tell her how he really feels about her. When they arrive at the ticket booth however, he forgets this as he gets startled when Duncan pops out of the ticket booth. Baggy hides his face with his paper bag hat. Blondie looks at him awkwardly. Baggy tells him that he is not scared of anything in order to recover himself. Duncan offers them tickets to a new horror film, The Curse of No-Visor. Baggy initially declines, but after Duncan insinuates watching it would "prove" he's cool, Baggy buys two tickets to the movie. Baggy and Blondie watch the film, only to see that it is a cheesy B-movie with horrible acting and special effects. As they mock the film, it suddenly stops playing, and the two see the real Novisor. Novisor passes through the car's screen and kills them both. Duncan drags their visor-less bodies and throws them into the back of a pick-up truck full of other corpses, and Novisor appears before him briefly before vanishing. Duncan realizes the ritual of summoning Novisor has been completed and cackles, proclaiming, "The end is upon us!"

Meanwhile, back on the Airship, the last part of Among Us Logic: The Revenge of Novisor is shown, starting from the time PoopyFarts96 performs a ritual to summon Novisor inside the meeting room. Player calls Ninja. At that time, Ninja is practicing with his sword by slicing dummies in the enclosure outside his dojo. His training is interupted when a phone rings. Ninja asks what was going on. A banging noise ends their call. He is visited by a mysterious person known as Dr. Doktor, who explains the true origin of No-Visor. The apparent ghost is actually an ancient, malevolent entity that is served by a large cult and possesses vessels every few years to continue wreaking havoc, while his name comes from the Latin words for "accept fate". He then reveals that Player is next in line to be possessed.

Back on the Airship, Player is sleeping with a black material wrapped around him. It is then revealed that he and Captain are hanging from the ceiling of the Gap Room, trapped from the sludge that covered them. He wakes up, and disturbed by the state of himself, he bumps onto Captain. Player asks where Novisor is. Captain replies that he does not know anything about him. He adds that the last thing he remembers is that PoopyFarts96 tried to stab him in the shower, but missed because the steam blocked his view. He took advantage of this and pretended to be dead. Player and Captain meet Ninja and Dr. Doktor, and Ninja gets them down by cutting the strings connecting the ink to the ceiling. Player thanks the doctor for his help. Dr. Doktor starts introducing who he is, but Captain asks him, almost in a jokey way, making him say his name again. Dr. Doktor finally shuts him up to warn that Player is in grave danger; he is Novisor's "chosen one". Player is still puzzled but before Dr. Doktor explains it further, Captain, who is looking to the other side at Records, saw something there and asks everyone if the No-Visors really do not have visors. Player says yes. Captain was right: a few moments later a group of those chase them from that way. Player, Captain, Dr. Doktor run to the cockpit. Ninja stays back to kill two of the No-Visors. All of them enter Cockpit while Ninja closes the door.

Dr. Doktor begins driving the Airship, when a Novisor-like portal appears before it. This alarms everyone else on board, with Player telling Dr. Doktor to steer away from it. Dr. Doktor does not comply, prompting an antsy Player to question if he can see what's before them. It's here that Dr. Doktor reveals himself to be working for Novisor, saying “Where [they are] going, [they] don’t need visors to see.” Dr. Doktor flies the Airship into the vortex, which then closes up.

Trivia[]

  • In Dr. Doktor's narration, the cultists are bowing down to Novisor, even though Novisor himself cannot see.
  • This is the first episode where Ninja speaks English. This is therefore the first episode where the other characters can actually understand him without needing a translator.
  • The cultists' chant really does translate to "accept fate." The Latin words novi sors can be translated as "accept fate" or "know [your] lot."
  • This episode confirms a fan theory saying that Captain faked his death in The Revenge of Novisor.

Errors[]

  • Bronson Lassetter was uncredited.
